Only Utah and osu received votes and the latter had only 1.
I don't think the rankings are wrong per se...Big 12 was left out as well...it reflects the Pac-12 having "good" or "serviceable" defenses but not elite.

Yeah, I agree that it's hard to put any teams from the Pac in the top 10 barring maybe Utah and I would have to look into that.
The Ducks should be able to improve on D a lot this year and could be really good if they do.
The big upside for the Pac this year should be QB play. I would think a good number of teams could qualify for a top 10 ranking including the Ducks.

I do think the PAC has always been known more for offense than defense. Coach Lanning has really turned over the roster on D, and I think it will be better, but probably not gonna be top ten.
