The case for FBS football to be unaffiliated by conferences and the NCAA is pretty much here. There needs to be a very strong leadership position taken by the NCAA to restore conference alignments for all sports outside of football.

I think this will quickly become the consensus opinion.
I only hope this happens soon before the wreckage is too severe. Without the regionality of college sports, the gold mine will begin to tap out.
