Good article. I was surprised at first to see special teams earned an A+, then realized I unconsciously associate a high grade with someone running a punt to the house.

Came way from this week feeling much better about our defense.
I see improvement from week to week. Keep it up and we may be pretty darned good defense this year.

Other than the penalty bug, both sides of the ball continue to make advances (albeit slower on the offense as we started at a higher grade). Jumped into the game full press from the kickoff and intensity stayed thru mid third quarter.
Not sure if we purposely took the foot off the gas pedal or if it was a combo of sub’ing in second and third deep personnel and Ty coming in - he didn’t look as ready as he was in previous games. Also that fourth and goal self-stop didn’t help. I suppose in hindsight getting Cam in for 3 might have made more sense.
I’m concerned for Whit …. Ducks always coy about injury status. With the Farm and a bye week we have three weeks to the Fuskies game. I hope he is healthy and back in the lineup by then. We will need every skill position available present and accounted for.
Simply fabulous day in Autzen, one of the best energy levels I have been in for years. Navy Leap Frogs delivering game ball with the blaring rock was perfection. Puddles loosing his head smashing the clock was epic!
I’m pretty fired up on how good this team could be.
