Re: Ducks Stock Report

Thanks for the link.  All pretty positive, a couple guys stepping up when needed.  The defense has added some much needed talent from the portal, and it seems recruits look strong.  A good year to have that show up.

I hope Kyree is back for the Fuskies.  He was supposedly seen working on a sideline bike after he came back from the locker room, so lets hope it was a stinger to his hip and he is declared good to go in two weeks.  Of course, no news on Whit; would obviously like him back as well.  And will we see Justin and Bryan back in next game?

The lack of penalties was another positive, just two - the PI (that I thought certainly wasn't flagrant) and the defensive snap count chicanery called as a delay of game.  Stanford got called on that as well.  Seems to be more of that (and stemming) by the defenses this year.

AZ dropped 24 on the darling Fuskies last night and while they looked great on offense as usual, they are beatable.  Bo should be able to navigate scoring drives as their defense is top notch but not best of class.  We will need our D to play tight and error free in the secondary and find a way to bring pressure to keep the Penis flaccid.  Between Dorlus, Burch, Funa and now Evans I think we can pull that off.  Lupoi has two weeks to study film and create some havoc plays.

GO DUCKS !!

Re: Ducks Stock Report

Interestingly UW did not get a single passing TD against AZ...but Penix was still 30-40 for 363 yards and a 9.1 average...4 rushing TD's.

Remember too...the UW also has 2 weeks to prepare for Oregon...both idle next weekend...so that issue is not an advantage either way beyond getting injured players healthy.
