An open week so here is some sports writing that shows everyone has an opinion. The key to this article is in the third line. He played Oregon. The humorous writers are what make sports so interesting. Only problem is some people are influenced by this crap. Happy to be pulling for a team that can back up the hype! GO DUCKS and take care of business one week at a time!

Did you intend to post a different link based on what you wrote?
The link is about a writer who covers the NFL noting a podcast of 3 people with a varied range of playing and coaching experiences plus significant NFL related journalism experiences too...discussing the potential for Sanders to play at the next level based on what they have seen to date. That is all.
Ever heard of Mel Kiper? He hypes college players all season long about playing in the NFL and creates detailed ranking orders of players for every position.
Yet hyping Bo Nix with a billboard in Midtown Manhattan for the Heisman...nothing "loud" about that for a guy who has played in 2 bowl games and has yet to even play in let alone win a conference championship in his college career.
Maybe the people in the podcast feel Sanders ranked #5 in the nation in Total Offense and Nix at #14....and Sanders at #2 in Passing and Nix at #17 better represents the topic of discussion...NFL potential?
(Penix Jr is #1 in both)
Thankfully Oregon with its facilities; uniform combinations; shoes that change colors; a head coach posting a video of himself smoking a cigar on Early Signing Day, isn't involved in self-hype / promotion / click bait actions.🙏

Hype is a part of being successful on the big stage. Bo was on most everyone's Heisman watch listing going into the season so they're going to promote him like any other big school would.
Like FL said the Ducks are backing up their hype so far.
Yes, the Ducks are a brand and business that gets promoted. They know what they're doing and do a good job of it. The Ducks hype brings in fans and players for that matter. I think it's awesome that we have players like Dez Johnson who grew up a Ducks fan despite not living anywhere close or having any connections.

Whatevs. CU and the Sanders name get clicks, so writers will write on the topic until the clicks tail off.

The point of this post was to show Sanders is NFL material and yet he has not beaten any good teams. Not saying it won't happen, but let's see if he is the real deal and not riding on his last name only at this point. Penix, Williams and Nix deserve the hype, but these 3 so called experts seem to think Sanders is a shoo in to the NFL already. Let him win some games against real competition based on his strengths and then we can assess his potential. We've seen so many hyped up quarterbacks ( Zack Wilson, Trey Lance) become just ordinary in the NFL. Let the kid prove himself.

The way those dudes are slobbering all over Shedeur is crazy. Give him a clean pocket, and he does pretty good, but pressure him, and not so much. I too thought the line about Oregon was pretty funny; but just maybe our D is that good. We'll know soon enough.
