Re: Huskies Game Thread

I've never trusted CL after he would miss all the pressure kicks his freshman year.

Re: Huskies Game Thread

Yeah.

Texted my brother that there was no way Lewis would come through. There was no doubt in my mind.

Re: Huskies Game Thread

Tough loss.

Despite the loss I saw a lot of good things today.

The Huskies might be a top 5 team.

You can nitpick a few calls and coaching desisions if you want, but overall the Ducks played a decent game.

They did, but  dang. Very frustrating.

Re: Huskies Game Thread

Lanning will be second guessed for his decisions.

I was on board with the first two gambles, but was not on board with the last.

Two years in a row he helped Huskies win.

This will be a tough pill to swallow.

Now, we'll have to suffer through DucksReigns monday-afternoon quarterbacking. God help us.

Re: Huskies Game Thread

This one's on Lanning. Every fricking coach in the NFL would have kicked a field goal at the end of the half. What the hell was he thinking? Would have been only one point down going into the locker room. Damn this team can be frustrating!

I would trust Lewis blindfolded in a wheelchair before I would ever trust Dan Lanning to make a smart coaching decision at a key moment in a tight game...because it NEVER should have come down to a FG attempt.

Oh that is right I forgot...we had a big QUACK today...for all you people who worship Lanning, I know you are estatic with the recruiting and the game results are secondary.

You weren't around in 21 when I was so excited about Henry Katleman. He had a boot and didn't miss when he got in. I think he was 4 from 4 for over 50 yards including the bowl game with Iowa State. I was so discouraged after he transferred.

I guess it's a win for you today?

You have to ask yourself how you got to a point where you rather have your supposed team you root for lose to troll the coach and actuel fans versus get a win.

You defend Deion after blowing a 29-0 lead against the worst team in the Pac to demonizing DL for losing  to the best team in the Pac in their own house by 3 points.

So typical and predictable.

Nowhere to be found during the heat of the battle but shows up afterword to laugh at everyone.

Would never want to be in a foxhole with you, that's for sure.

Ah yes, I wonder what ever happened to the "Stache"?

Re: Huskies Game Thread

DR, I have deleted your last bullshit comment. No need for you to put up with us when there are other boards. This is your only warning. The next time you feel the need to write such drivel will be your last.

EXACTLY!

But you have to be careful on here with all the "Lanning is God" worshipping and suffer through their narratives which prioritize recruiting over winning games...look at them now...all taking shots at Lewis as if Lanning played no role.

Going back to 1994, Oregon has only lost back to back games to the UW three times: 2002/03 and 2016/17 and those years they were a combined 15-11 and 11-14 respectively. The third time? Dan Lanning's first 2-years.

But thankfully on Rivals Oregon is ranked #8 in recruiting and Washington is ranked #52 so we are clearly the better team.

Please, nobody is worshiping DL on here.

You're passive aggressive troll act on here would have had you banned on numerous forums by now.

I'm guessing and am very confident you've been banned on more than 1 forum ages ago.

Fan of another team? Just a troll for the sake of being a troll?

It doesn't matter.

FD just bashed DL and I'm totally fine with it. It's clear from his past post that he's a Duck's fan. He has the right to bash DL if he wants to and whether or not I agree with it.

It's this passive aggressive pretend to be Ducks fan only in name fraud act on your end that everyone's sick of.

Like DB said you don't show up to talk shop during the game. You just show up to troll. Quite the long history of being a total fraud in relations to being a Ducks fan.

Re: Huskies Game Thread

I exercise my freedom of choice  and, I won't name names, but I NEVER read what some of you post...EVER...is anyone forcing any of you to read mine?

Don't like my so-called passive aggressive style...then don't read / comment on it.

To address some of the remarks...

1)I WORK EVERY SATURDAY and the only start time where I could join the chat when the game begins are the night games. Even then I usually don't do the chat in a blowout game...in part because I usually stop watching the game itself...so I wait until the second half to get an idea of how its going if at all. Chats aren't my thing at least on a regular basis.

Today I was ready to post that I could scratch 3 of the 5 expectations off my list I shared yesterday until Lanning "did it again."

2) I grew up in Eugene, my father was on the UO faculty; my parents were season ticket holders for football and basketball for years.

I graduated from Oregon...seen the good, bad and ugly in every sport...so those are my credentials like them or not.

I am not a homer, everybody gets a trophy fan, and if I don't like what I see(Dan Lanning is a PERFECT example)...I express my opinions. I am sorry if you think I need to support Oregon a specific way.

3) Speaking of, the only site I have ever been banned from is FishDuck(I even wrote some articles for them) because I refused to play along with his hypocrisy and told him so.

4) You never see profanity in what I write...words that would get people banned from other forums.

I don't attack players and keep my criticisms directed where I think it should be...the coaching staff. Personally beating up 18 to 21-year olds is not what I do. By the way, Camden Lewis is one of the MAJOR reasons we beat TT earlier in the season...2 go-ahead FG's in the 4th quarter among other contributions. We might not even been 5-0 going into today's game without Camden Lewis.

I find it ironic that my criticisms of Lanning and comments amount to a troll and negativity but when OREGON athletes are attacked on here...comments, game chats...it is all good.

5) Whenever possible I put links with what I write to support / complement / enhance my thoughts. So that is why I posted a link earlier to the full press conference by Sanders with my opinion that what he said did not reflect the conclusions posted by someone else. Specifically it was about his press conference and not the game itself...big difference.

By the way there are people on here who rarely if ever create a topic for discussion...feel free to go through and count all those I have created...many with links...yet all they do is troll...never help the site by starting / creating a topic...but they will jump down my throat in a heartbeat. Oh well.
