U$C fires Grinch

One week before they play us. I don't think it really matters, but found some of these reactions kinda funny

Re: U$C fires Grinch

That was a wild game and UW wasn't much better on defense.

I am kind of surprised former Oregon assistant coach Donte Williams wasn't named the interim DC.

Re: U$C fires Grinch

Lincoln Riley is the new Deion Sanders. took a 4-8 SC team and turned it around to 11-1, with a 17-3 lead over the Utes in the P-12 championship game. and then the wheels came off. no O-line, no pass rush, no defense. B-12 football. the bloom is off his rose, and the entitled SC fanbase wants blood.

Ducks are up to -16 in some sports books. SC still has a mathematical chance to make the P-12 championship game as the best 2-loss team via tiebreakers, but you wonder if they'll even show up. changing DCs now is like throwing in the towel. should Caleb just sit out and wait for the NFL draft?

tics for this game were selling $500-600 per a few weeks ago on the after-market. guessing the people who sold are glad they did.

Re: U$C fires Grinch

It will be really interesting to see if SUC circles the wagons and plays with their hair on fire?

Or if the team has already quit and will just roll over?

Really depends on Caleb Williams.  If he is on point, the Trojans will score, and score more.  If he is mailing it in to preserve his health and draft position now that the national championship is talk is moot, then the game is a sleeper and the Ducks most likely blow them out.

My hope is that the Ducks take the game to USC the same way they took it to CU.  That game was personal and this one is as well as Riley is supposedly the "best" coach in the conference even today...

Yeah, Riley is the best coach in his own mind.
