Goe link from today's I&A to this in-depth Jon Wilner piece about Larry Scott's long-term strategy for conference media rights. lots of good nuts'n'bolts info here, presenting both sides of the argument. unlike much of what has appeared in The O; esp Canzano's diatribes.
what will the world look like in 2025? nobody knows, but Scott is betting that when the river card flops, it fills his inside straight.

Whoa! Talk about taking a deep dive into the topic.

Thanx Mac. I rarely go to olive anymore, and don't see those links. I have been saying, since A1 Duck was posting his support for Scott, that I really do not think Scotts strategy will work. I feel we are many years away from streaming becoming mainstream viewing. I tend to take the pessimistic approach to Scott and his fantasies: sounds like Wilner is not convinced either.

"....esp Canzano's diatribes."
on a john c topic not related to Wilner's column: poor, poor john has a big sad now that Leach has left and they can't snuggle-text/gossip late into the night.
ORG: i'm with you. i rarely read any of The O's columns these days since comments have been banned. i'll punch up the 'sports page' to see if there's any news breaking and then, quickly, wonder off into the web....

Yep. There are days I don't even hit the O at all. I think they will discover that was a mistake.

I still check out O-live just to see if Goe has posted any more sports updates. He always does. It's the best way to check out the links he provides to us. If you happen to be reading, thanks again Ken. It's much appreciated.

Yep! Goe is the only reason I still head to OLive. I've always enjoyed I&A and his links are the best. However, I know I&A's days are numbered for this season before it's put into storage for the year. And Snap Judgements & Cheap Shots is usually entertaining too. I hope he does at least one more SJ&CS to wrap up the season.
