Civil War and Apple Cup have not been competitive
I went back 50-years to 1973(Pac-8 became the Pac-10 in 1978) and from then until now OSU and WSU have each won 14 of their rivalry games against the UO and UW respectively.
Additionally neither OSU or WSU has won more than 2 consecutive rivalry games during that time frame.
In the last 15-years starting in 2008(Pac-10 became the Pac-12 in 2011)), OSU and WSU have each won only 3 times in the series.
By any reasonable standard these rivalries have been more one-sided than competitive through different eras.

aggregate numbers are dry & virtually meaningless w/o the context of each individual situation.
in 1998 OS's come-from-behind, double-OT W vaulted Mike Riley into the NFL and brought Dennis Erickson to Corvallis, with all ensuing consequences. UO's subsequent bowl loss to Colorado in Hawai'i brought Skippy New-weasel to Montlake.
in 2000 Oregon State won in Reser, 23-13, denying Mike Bellotti his best chance to coach Oregon in a Rose Bowl.
in 2001 Ducks won 17-14 in Autzen on Keenan Howry's legendary punt return in a driving rain ('light this candle'); Erickson's OS squad--picked as #1 team in nation by SI preseason--finished 5-6. Ducks defeated Colorado in the Fiesta Bowl and finished ranked #2 (highest all-time).
the 2008 Beatdown in Beandip denied OS a spot in the Rose Bowl. Oregon State has never won a Rose Bowl in Pasadena. the 65 points scored caused Bellotti to be given a gentle shove into the AD position so that Chip Kelly could become HC.
2009, only winner-take-all War for the Roses. LGB leveling that #32 Krispy Kreme kid happened right in front of our seats. monumental game on a cold December Thursday night.
and so many others . . . Ducks clinching a spot in the 'Natty' in Reser in 2010 (Stephen Paea was a monster). Marcus striking the pose in an easy win in Corvallis 2014 (got to talk to Alana Mariota a little bit as the stands emptied).
I was there for all of them, including the Colorado Fiesta Bowl in Sun Devil Stadium. as were tens-of-thousands of Ducks & Beavs. great memories, good & bad. that's what it means to be a fan.

Some nice games to be part of. My best claim to fandom was 1) being in Autzen for the infamous Wheaton pick game (went to the Rose Bowl and endured the loss) then being in both Fusky and Autzen stadiums for every one of the 12 game win streak. Too many losses under Brooks to want to even try to stoke those dead brain cells.
Yes, much context to our storied Ducks. One more win in this regular season then who knows?
