Pat McAfee wonders if Oregon has enough big wins?

It is the time of year where everyone believes they had the toughest schedule and have enough big wins.

If you watch / listen to Pat McAfee he really likes Oregon and says as much in this video. He has mixed feelings about the schedule.

Which is why I believe Oregon MUST have noteworthy STYLE POINTS against the UW besides winning obviously.

If they win but it is a messy game with penalties, turnovers, etc. I could see them getting jumped.

BUT I think everyone else except maybe Georgia also needs to look impressive in these championship games...8 very good teams have a legitimate chance at making the Playoffs and aside from the outcomes, other factors come into play...in my opinion.

Re: Pat McAfee wonders if Oregon has enough big wins?

Pat is like the gym class hero in high school that just drank too much Mountain Dew. I find him rather annoying. I'll still listen to Colin Cowherd if I'm stuck in the car depending on the segment so I get listening to obnoxious sports personalities. Given a choice I prefer the likes if Josh Pate and J.D. Pickell who both actually watch the Ducks and bring up good analytics and game breakdowns.

Yeah, he's not wrong in that having a big win is a good idea.

Nor is he wrong that the schedule wasn't tough the whole season. I haven't heard any fan or sports personality that's claimed the Ducks have had the toughest schedule. It has been the eye test for some and analytics of others that have the Ducks as a top 2 or 3 team today.

If Georgia wins and FSU doesn't win big I don't think it's a must at all to have a big win. It can't hurt and there's no reason not to though.
