Ducks Sweep LA Schools in MBB!

Nice job Oregon!

UO 82 / USC 74

UO 64 / UCLA 59

I admit once Dante and Bittle were injured, I wondered what was going to happen to the team.

Yet here they are at 10-3 and in first place!

Nice to see the team playing well early in the Conference season vs the usual late season "coming together."

Lots of games to play but hopefully they can sustain the momentum.🙏

Re: Ducks Sweep LA Schools in MBB!

Those two wins against the L.A. schools says a lot about the players and coach.  Down to only eight scholarship players, they showed a lot of character and grit in winning.  There's a chance we will get to see Mookie Cook's debut against the Huskies on Thursday January 4th in Seattle.  Sounds like N'Faly Dante is only a few weeks away from returning and some great news that Nate Bittle might still play this year.  If everyone is healthy by February, it's still possible we could see our Ducks get an NCAA invite.  Jackson Shelstad has been terrific and Kwame Evan's jr is gaining a lot of experience at the expense of the injured teammates.  Looking forward to seeing what these guys can do down the stretch run if all are healthy. Go Ducks!

I think it's high time to dispense of the notion "if we get healthy, we MIGHT make the tourney". I've heard this from other fans too.
My position is if we get healthy....we MIGHT win the dang conference! I still doubt we would overcome AZ, but it's time to raise expectations if Dante and Bittle come back healthy. I heard on the Duck pre-game show that Oregon was already projected in the field of 64 BEFORE the UCLA game.

I'm pretty excited about this team. Love the chemistry and we finally have a PG after the diabolical, horrific, putrid Will Richardson era! (I will never forgive Altman for hanging his hat on that dude for 5 years!)
