One of the best things besides the great users we have on here is that The Duck Room is completely free. Always has been and always will be. Don't be shy as everyone can post your latest thoughts on the Ducks. Just see the few simple rules below.

1. Common sense community standards apply.
2. Posts of political nature of post that would lead to such matters do not belong here, there's a whole internet for that.
3. Fans of different teams are allowed here as are difference of options, however trolling is not tolerated.
4. We have to abide by copyright laws, which means quoting an articles story and posting links works. On the contrary copy and pasting entire copyrighted stories is against the rules.

Washington OC gone

It's ok, as long as Lake stays as HC I'm pretty sure the rivalry is in good hands.

Here's the unprinted story, according to my "sources":  Donovan read the great quote from Lake:  "In our world, we battle more academically prowess teams."  And he went into Lake's office and said, "Uh, coach, in an environment that has academic prowess, they know that 'more' and 'academically' are adverbs which modify adjectives, and 'prowess' is a noun, not an adjective.  It's no wonder they pounded us, and it's no wonder we're losing recruiting battles with Stanford, too.  You do realize everyone with academic prowess was laughing at you?"

So Lake fired him.

Re: Washington OC gone

No competent OC in their right mind would draw up more pass plays, than runs, considering the conditions they played in Saturday night. He did not put his players in position to succeed, and that goes for the HC as well but I hope they never fire Lake.
