lots of chatter about the kid being offered $$ to transfer; says he's staying . . .
will be good to see Mack Brown again. last time we saw him he was being forcibly retired by Nick Aliotti's defense in the Alamo Bowl.

It wasn't confirmed until Lanning did so tonight in his press conference.

Lanning might value loyalty and stability, which bodes well for UO if he lives what he values. That said, we covered in a different thread that the HC has to recruit HS, the portal and his own team every season on top of coaching his coaches and coaching the game. It is a tall task, and why so few are do very good at it.
