Man, now that's a life that deserves a little bit of "doing whatever the hell you want"!  I'm happy for you.

As far as Dante, yeah. Why does Oregon always seem to get the shaft on these deals??  There are even many more instances of an uneven playing field than the ones you stated. The NCAA is just so incompetent and corrupt it's quite breathtaking when you look at it on the whole for all these last few decades. I've long been a holdout, but I think it's really past time it dissolves completely. Into what? I don't know. But something more equitable, consistent and just, I hope. (Yes, I'm a bit naive and a hopeless romantic lol)

Funny about Altman.

It's not that I'm not a fan. I do truly love Altman for the man and person he is. He has achieved greatness here at Oregon. He is a character guy and a loyal guy which I respect immensely. It's a top quality in a coach and as a human. As I've said in the past, he is a Hall of Famer and it's a travesty he is not already in the club like several other active coaches are. I just think the game has passed him by a bit. He's too old school and stubborn in his thinking. Too set in his ways. He is just so darn humble and quiet and not a rah rah guy. I mean, he probably spends his evenings quilting with Reva which is cool.....but I want new blood. New energy. New ideas. New coaches. New attitude. Someone that can get the fans excited. Pac the Matt (that stale morgue is a whole other story) someone............like Dan Lanning!!!!!!!!


That's what Oregon needs. A basketball version of Dan Lanning!

It was do or die. Elimination game. No tomorrow. And there was not one warm body in the pen that could throw a strike?? I mean at that point you HAVE to go with the game 3 starter even if it is the ONLY option left.

I don't follow Duck Baseball, which is weird since I'm a pretty big MLB guy.

But watching those two games just summed it up, I guess.  College Baseball is really a joke. A 10-0 lead means nothing. Coach Waz, to my eyes, is a fucking joke! Allowing a pitcher to throw ball after ball after ball after walk after walk after hit batter after walk after ball after ball after walk, walk, walk, walk,...........AND NOT EVEN PULLING THE FUCKING PITCHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming from a fan with "long PTSD" from growing up with Oregon football in the 70's and 80's, it's still hard to have ever imagined getting the types of athletes Lanning is bringing in.

It all started with the 85 scholly limit and i suppose that NIL thingy might have a little to do with it? Lol.
Doesn't hurt to probably have the best "collective" (Phil) in the country!!
